چكيده لاتين :
Effect of Magnesium content and employing of filtering system on mechanical properties of A3 56 aluminum alloy has been studied. In this respect, aluminum alloy with 7% silicon and different amounts of 0.48,0.55 and 0.64% magnesium has been prepared and casted at two conditions including with- and without filtering system. The results reveal that magnesium content has an appreciable effect on mechanical properties of A356 alloy, as small variation of magnesium content, from 0.42 to 0.64%, improves tensile strength by 44%, but it reduces elongation by 29%. In addition, employing of filter system also improves mechanical properties and its effect is more significant on fatigue life than that on tensile properties, as filtering improves fatigue life by 60%.
