The Randomized Response Technique for Polychotomous Question and Estimation of Proportion of Shahid Chamran University Studentʹs Cheating Options

Frequently, in sampling survey the respondents do not state true response for sensitive variable. The randomized response (RR) techniques combine sensitive question with another question to protect the privacy of the respondent. In this paper the randomized response data are used to estimate the proportion of sensitive options in the polychotomous question. To evaluate the estimator of proportion some programs arc1 provided using SPLUS 2000 software. Finally, as a real application, the proportions of Shahid Chamran University studentʹs cheating options are estimated.
