Production of Canvas and Brush in Iranian Traditional Miniature Painting

Iranian traditional miniature painters were so sensitive in choosing their required painting tools, since the selection of suitable and good-quality tools and materials has a significant role in creating permanent masterpieces of painting. In the past, tools of miniature painting were made in hand by the artists themselves. But today, with the establishment of different factories and workshops, production of such tools are done and provided to the artists with numerous varieties. O The aim of this article is to arouse artists attention to certain forgotten points regarding traditional production of miniature canvas from catʹs fur. In fact, sensitive attention production of miniature canvas from catʹs fur.
