The Role of Children Theatre in Education

Behavioral scientists believe that the influence of childhood acquisitions on adulthood is one of the most effective elements which determine the role and characteristics of the individual in a society. It is also considered as one of the ways of developing and modifying habits, behaviors and cultural, national, religious insights of future men and women. As an artistic field, theatre embodies expansive educational and behavioral effects which may not need so many requirements except training skillful and experienced teachers. It has also useful applications in most educational and art centers throughout the country. Since children are the most delicate and flexible members of the human society, developing correct intellectual and ideological foundations in children in an indirect and attractive manner could result in many useful and productive achievements in the long term, the most important of which is to train healthy positive citizens with elevated and humanitarian beliefs. In this respect, what is significant in all children artistic activities for the teachers of art, is the "process of activity" and the "procedures of producing an art work" and not the "art product" itself. In fact, the goal is not the "art product"; rather it is "enjoyment and learning
