چكيده لاتين :
The present study examined the effects of group assertive training on social anxiety, social skills and assertiveness of male first grade high school students in Shiraz. The related population includes all first year high school male students in Shiraz. The sample includes 60 students who were selected randomly according to a multistage sampling method. They were, then, divided into experimental and control groups. The scales used in this study were Assertiveness Scale, Eisler and Millerʹs Rating Scale and Watson and Friendʹs Anxiety Scale. The design was a pre-post test with control group. Both groups were pre and post tested, but only the experimental group received the treatment. The results showed that group assertive training increased social skills and assertiveness and decreased social anxiety.
