A Comparative Study of Transfer of Electronic Commercial Instruments (Bill of Exchange, Promissory Note and Cheque)

The Electronic Commerce Law of Iran clearly provides that electronic commercial instruments are acceptable. Such electronic instruments can be created and transferred in two ways. First, the original document is electronically created and then transferred. Second, the document is created on a paper base, an electronic image of which is produced and transferred. The sending of a document through an electronic means and its taking over occurs when a person takes the control of the document. In order to ensure that the document is safely transferred and no changes have been made to the document, it is recommended to use encryption.
