بررسي تاثير مجازات زندان بر وضعيت اقتصادي و اجتماعي خانواده هاي زندانيان زندانهاي شيراز

Effect of Perison punishment on prisonersʹ families and kind and reasons of crimes are some of the most important matters of criminology, most criminals have low socio-economic status ,so, prison punishment have negative effects on their families. In this research, we compared socio-economic status of prisonersʹ families before and after arresting them, we used some theories like social disorganization theory and social control . too. This research was conducted with survey method. Statistical society was Shiraz prisonersʹ wives that 351 women selected randomly and interviewed and some of them filled sheets of questions. Results ofT-test showed that economic situation familiesʹ income, social relation of family members, children education , control of children and tendency of children to delinquent behavior as economic and social indices in prisonersʹ families had significant differences before and offer arresting. So, prison punishment had negative effects on socio - economic status and social situations of prisonerʹs families.
