Arabic Syntax and Facilitating It through Linguistic Approach

Traditional syntax often considers language through prescriptive approach whereas linguistics uses dominantly descriptive approach. Prescriptive approach deals with Dos and Donʹts but descriptive approach only describes written and spoken language. Namely, we study the structure of a given language and do nothing more; we neither judge language patterns as being good or bad nor correct or incorrect. This article considers two important Arabic syntax schools; "Basreh" and Koofeh" which the former is a descriptive approach while the latter is a prescriptive one
