چكيده لاتين :
This study was carried out to compare the effect of corn-based diets formulated according to estimated total versus digestible essential amino acids on broiler performance. A number of 400 one day male Ross broiler chicks were used in a completely randomized design with factorial arrangement to assess the effect of the diets. Factors were amino acid criterion (total versus digestible) and diet concentration (according to catalogue suggestion versus lower concentration than catalogue). The studied traits were: feed consumption, weight gain and feed conversion ratio. Three birds were used for determining antibody titration of Newcastle disease and carcass characteristics including: carcass ratio, breast efficiency, femur efficiency, abdominal fat percentage, heart percentage and pancreas percentage. Results of total feed consumption showed that only the effect of diet concentration and amino acid criterionxdiet concentration were significant (P<0.05) so that, diluted diets were consumed more as compared to catalogue suggestion. In total weight gain and feed conversion ratio, the effect of amino acid criterion and amino acid criterionxdiet concentration were significant (P<0.05) and catalogue concentrated diets formulated according to total digestible amino acids showed a better performance compared to the others. None of the carcass traits were significantly affected by treatments. Diets with catalogue concentration and digestible amino acid criterion had the most titration of antibody.
