Attempts of Repentant Immigrants in the Soviet Union to Return to Iran

After withdrawal of Soviet forces from Iran and toppling the clandestine Azerbaijan Democratic party, a group of Iranians migrated to the Soviet Union. During Khroshchevʹs era the relation between Iran and the Soviet Union was improved and these immigrants launched efforts to return back to their homeland. The present article has studied some 325 files and documents and tries to show the huge efforts made by those people.
