Futurology Studies in Iran

As a library research, this study is an attempt to investigate futurology methods and introduce it to interested entities. Given the newness of the approach, futurology research centers were established in some of the universities and military academies to the extent that even doctoral course in futurology is offered in Imam Khomeini International University. Thinking about future and its events traces back to a long time as people in all periods of the history were interested in appreciating future. Once they believed unable to determine their future, but in the course of the history the idea flourished that our daily actions determine our tomorrow. Consequently, motivation to understand future was spread every where including Iran.
