Foundations and Principles of Teaching Ethics Based on Islamic Moral Philosophy

The set of moral rules that teachers should notice and use for regulating their behavior is usually referred to as code of ethics. In this paper, we deal with philosophical foundations of teaching ethics based on Islamic Philosophy of Ethics (Tabatabaeiʹs philosophical views). Relying on this philosophy, we have suggested strategies and principles concerning morality of teaching. These principles refer to different dimensions of teachersʹ relations, including their relations to themselves, students, parents, their colleagues and higher authorities.
