چكيده لاتين :
Looking at the educational software from the perspective of new teaching models, certain characteristics must be observed in order for the software to be effective. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the available software from the said perspective could not only reveal the state of affairs, but also pave the way for creating new and more effective software. To this end, a 58 item questionnaire constructed on the basis of new teaching models was administered to a group of experts in education, communication, and technology. Results show that most available software chiefly promote low level learning and almost ignore content advocated by new models of teaching. As to such contents, suggestions are made at the end of the discussion on the findings.
