Dream and Itʹs role in the mystic textʹs

Narrating dreams is one of the methods or tools used by the Sufis in order to prove their mysticism ideas. This method has been used in subjects such as proving the high status of common law, solving the problems or agreeing with an argument, understanding the inner feelings, advising, consulting, preaching and transforming a disciple, revealing secrets, relating to the dead, becoming aware of the future events, or presenting a title or robe while asleep. Some of these dreams may initially seem very strange or unintelligible, Yet some others could be more convincing. But what is significant for the Sufis is not the dream or its correctness. Instead, their significance lies in the use of these dreams in proving the didactic theories of the Sufis.
