The study of influence of the Sogdian and Turkish languages on each other according to a Turko-Sogdian document

The Sogdian language was an Eastern Iranian language that was spoken in a very large area. This language was "lingua franca" of Central Asia during the 2nd tol2th centuries,because it was by far the most important as a vehicle of culture,literature and commerce between East and West of Asia. It was influenced when it contacted with the language of groups that invaded Soggiana such as Yueh-chih,Sakas,Haphtalits,Turks,ect. But Sogdian language fell into disuse,around the 11th century,when it met the competition of Turkish in the East and Persian and Arabic in the West. Here,to show this influence, one Turko- Sogdian document, which has been found in Toen-houang,is studied.
