Identification and Ranking of Factors Affecting the Efficiency of the Work Force at the Department of Education in Hormozgaan

To dentify and rank factors that affect efficiency, a sample of 138 staff members at the Pronicial Department of Education in Hormozgaan (PDEH) was randomly selected and a quesitionnaire was administered. The data thus collected were analyzed through regression analysis and factors were identified and ranked in terms of their impact on efficiency as follows: structural/administrative factors, job related factors, psycho-physical and environmental factors, personal factors, and factors promoting a friendly cooperative atmosphere. Based on these finding suggestions can be made as how to improve the efficiency of the work force at the PDEH.
