The Revival of Russiaʹs Military Power: Tackling US Unilateralism

After the collapse of the Soviet Union Russia became a passive state in international system. The United States took several steps to take advantage of this situation and to impose its power and will to international system including Russia. The US interference in Russiaʹs near abroad was due to Russiaʹs weakness both internally and in international system. Vladimir Putin while trying to promote economic condition of Russia, tried to revive the military power of this country. This policy is still under implementation in Russia.
