Personnel empowerment is a strategy which experts of human resources have paid more attention in the last three decades. One of important issues which organizations face in designing empowerment programs is the expected pattern. Different patterns have been presented in personnel empowerment field so far which their recognition can be a guide to select the best pattern from empowerment experts of organizations. In this paper, first we have mentioned 36 known model and then these models were classified based on available approaches in empowerment field under 7 categories as well as presenting a new classification of models. These approaches include:The approaches based on authority, motivational approach, psychological approach, international, cognitive, cultural and combinational approach.
