Believing in the savior and reformer, Mahdawiah, is a general and comprehensive inspiration. It is derived from the Holy Quran. At the time of the development of civilization and its influence on the social life of people, rising of the hope to get to Utopia and preparedness of the situation for a global just government, this idea has developed into a universal ideal. The belief in a universal savior has always been considered in the religion of unity. However, it is Islam, among the religions of unity, and especially Shiʹism which has considered the matter in a systematic and organized method. These questions arise here: "What is the philosophy of Mahdawiah in Shiʹism? What are the thinking bases of Mahdawiah and what are its outcomes? What are the educational systemʹs missions for forming Mahdawi society?
Hence, in this piece of research it is intended to clarify the philosophy, thinking bases, and the outcomes of Mahdawiah in the absence of Imam Mahdi.
Qualitative analysis is applied to this research. To achieve the goals, the documents are deeply analyzed. The data is persistently analyzed and interpreted in this piece of research. Findings indicated that the Mahdawi Islamic thought is based on the Creator of the universe. The issue of Mahdawiah or the unique just system of the universe is indeed an Islamic comprehensive, scientific, and systematic design established by the holy prophet of Islam for human being. The continuation of this movement and its complication is left to Imam Mahdi (ATF), who is responsible for the fulfillment of innate and original ideals of man. The thinking basis of Imam Mahdi is founded on Unity, Imamah, and Justice. The mission of the educational system in the formation of Mahdawi society is firstly related to the point that the policy makers themselves believe in Mahdawiah. Then, they are supposed to clarify the issues related to Mahdi (ATF) and make the learners familiar with him and with and his mission of establishing the global just government. Of course, the success of the educational system in clarifying and explaining the issue of Mahdawiah depends highly on the appraisal in the fields of content, method, and propagation.
