چكيده لاتين :
In this study, mechanical properties of Al-Zr02 composites produced by Vortex method have been investigated. Up to now, no report has been found in this subject. ZrO2 powder with 1 micron average diameter as reinforce particles and Al-356 matrix were used for production of these composites. Results show that mechanical properties of samples have increased significantly compare to matrix metal. In the case of sample with 15%ZrO2 UTS value has increased from 145MPa to 232MPa and hardness from 43HB to 64HB.
