A Survey of the Relationship Between Organizational Health and effectiveness in Boy Pubic Schools of the 2 and 3 Educational Districts of Tehran

The present study aimed at "survey the relationship between organizational health and effectiveness in boy public schools of educational districts 2 and 3 of Tehran." The data were collected through two questionnaires of organizational health (OH) and effectiveness. The research populations were the teachers of boy public schools of educational districts 2 and 3 of Tehran from 3 levels of primary, guidance, and high schools (totally 1017 persons). The samples were 280 teachers who were randomly selected according to relative sample clustering. The results of the study indicated that: there was a positive and significant relationship between organizational health and effectiveness in boy public schools of educational districts 2 and 3 of Tehran(r= 0.84). The degree of organizational health and the effectiveness of both districts were significantly above the mean and satisfactory; however, compared with each other, the degrees of district 2 were greater than those of district 3. There was a significant relationship between organizational health and all 4 factors of school effectiveness. Primary schools, compared with guidance and high schools, enjoyed a greater degree of organizational health and effectiveness. Multiple regression analysis indicated that among the organizational health factors, academic emphasis has the most predictive value of schools effectiveness.
