چكيده لاتين :
The purpose of this research was to study the effectiveness of assertive training on job satisfaction of personnel of Khuzestan Water and Power Industry. The sample of the research included 40 persons (12 women and 28 men) of practitioner personnel of the instructional and scholarship complex in summer 1387, that were chosen by the simple random sampling method and were placed randomly in two experimental and control groups. The research design was the pretest — post test with the experimental and control groups. Subjects completed the following instruments: Assertiveness Scale for Adolescents that was corrected for subject-adults, Assertiveness Self- Report Inventory, Job Description Index Questionnaire, Job Satisfaction Evaluation Questionnaire of Quinn, and Shepard, and Personal Data Sheet. Then the subjects were instructed assertive training in eight sessions (120 minutes each). Afterwards, the above — mentioned questionnaires were analyzed statistically and the results showed that: The assertive training increased the experimental groups assertion in comparison to the control group. The assertive training increased the job satisfaction of the experimental group, in comparison to the control group. The assertive training increased the satisfaction of the experimental group personnelʹs payments and privileges, in comparison to the control group. The assertive training increased the satisfaction from grades and promotion of the experimental group, in comparison to the control group. The assertive training increased the satisfaction from personnels supervisor of the experimental group in comparison to the control group. The assertive training increased the satisfaction from the personnels co-workers of the
experimental group in comparison to the control group. The assertion
training did not increase satisfaction from nature of the work of the
experimental group in comparison to the control group.
