The International Law and the Nuclear Program of Iran

Undoubtedly, the Iranʹs nuclear issue is one of the most important issues of Iranʹs foreign policy in the last half century which has shaded over the political life even on the international politics. This issue can be assessed in different angles where legal analyze in one of them. On this piece, first of all, the legal system which governs over the nuclear issue will be analyzed in a glance then the legal bases of Iran measures and its differences with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the legal traits of referring the issue to the Security Council will be studied. Finally, the relation between the legal principles accepted by civilized nations and Iranʹs nuclear issue will analyzed. The present article is in three sections: 1. The available of legal system over the nuclear activites. 2. The legal predicates, in favor and against, on the Iranʹs nuclear issue. 3. Opposiotion of the west with the Iranʹs nuclear issue and assessing its accordance with the present legal doctrine.
