Deviation from Norms in Saeb Tabriziʹs Poetry

Branch Saeb Tabrizi has dual look at the character of Khidr. Sometimes he is in line with literary tradition and confirms the character of this prophet. And yet at other times while considering himself free from "water of immortality" and "eternal life", rejects what Khidr stands for. This view has had profound impact on Islamic mysticism. The present article is to take this dual look in Saeb Tabriziʹs poems into consideration.
