چكيده لاتين :
Repentance means a return from and giving up sins. A Godʹs servant who has distanced himself from God by committing sins is now intending to return to his God and approximate Him. Repentance is religiously and rationally compulsory and is voluntary and optional. To achieve repentance, it is necessary for the sinful person to be resolved to repent, i.e. knowing it and admitting its benefit, and be willing to give up sins and approximate God Almighty. This propensity must be stronger than other tendencies including the tendency to commit sins. To do so, it is necessary for the individuals to know clearly the harms of the sins and the benefits of the repentance. Without such a belief, the serious will of repentance would not appear in the individuals. In effect, repentance is a reaction on the part of the individuals towards their own improper behavior in spending their lives in disobeying God. The most important obstacle for repentance ana return to the right path is taswif, i.e. delaying repentance. The best time for repentance is just after committing the improper action, especially in youthful days. One who cannot return to his God in his youth, it would be more difficult for him to repent in his old ages.
