The study of Origenʹs views on Christian theology has different aspects, each of which is of especial importance, especially for those who wish to be familiar with Christian theology .He was a philosopher, one of the Fathers of the Church, an advocate theologian and an exotic exegete .He is also regarded as the innovator of systematic theology .
Origenʹs theology was, in a sense, a Platonic-Gnostic project .Three important issues were of his primary concern .He has summarized Christianity in three sections of his book as follows :God and His manifestations, descent of created souls, salvation .Of course, he adds another important section at the end :the allegorical understanding of the Scripture .He tries to provide an organic whole of the elements and foundations of Christianity, which can both be a response to the suspicions and utilize all the pure facts and the results of previous thoughts . Origen was regarded as a heterodox in some of his beliefs, and his influence was overshadowed to some extent by a criticism and elimination of his works in the East; however, soon he found ardent followers in eastern and western churches . The present paper is seeking to review his most important views and influences in the Christian world .
