The present article, which is a sequel of the discussion on the effective ways of self-refinement, focuses on manʹs everlasting fierce combat with Satan. The article touches on a number of issues including recognizing Satan and the difference between Satan and Iblis, the vicious devices hatched by Satan to deceive Godʹs servants by pretending servitude, the philosophy of the creation of Satan, and finally the various techniques used by Satan to capture man. In brief, man, like Satan who worshipped God for six thousand years and then due to his haughtiness and vanity was deprived of Godʹs mercy for ever, is always subject to Satanʹs temptations and to trying. Man should be cautious not to take off the necklace of servitude and should take refuge in God from Satanic evils, because everyone, except the purified servants of God, are subject to the Satanic temptations of jin and man.
