The purpose of this study was to compare of educational needs of P. E. curriculum in high schools in Iran; which is performed among students, parents, teachers, and especialists. The statistical samples of the study included 385 P.E. Especialists; 2610 P.E. teacher; 1012 parents; and 1079 students high schools in grade of 9,10&11. The subjects were from 24 major capital cities of the countiys provinces. The instrument of the study was a questionnaire made by the investigator which included 12 locomotor needs, 15 athletic skil Is needs, 15 cognitive needs, and 15 psycho-social needs.This questionnaire was made after 3 stages of pilot study, and was provided to the subjects with internal consistency of 0.71- 0.97. The subjects select 5 needs between these needs and put them in hierarchy.The time for the completion of questionnaires varied between 20-35 minute. To test the hypothesis of the study, the non-parametric test Kruscal-Vallis and chi in the level of p< 0/05 were used. The results of study indicated that among the physical needs the normal posture, the simple exercise, and the kinds of games & exercise related to physical fitness, were ranked from first to fifth priorities. Also, subjects showed their needs to training succer, track & field, basketball &volleyball. Hierarchy of cognitive needs different however, the information related to the posture health & was in the first priority. Gaining healthy and happy appearance physical fitness , enjoyment from the class were the first psycho-social needs of the students.Therefore, there was significant differences on ranking of skill & physical needs between subjects, but there was the agreement of the subjects on ranking of cognition & affective needs which can be considered as the based for the presenting some models of PE content.
