A Sociological survey on Factors Affecting Divorce in Zanjan in 1387

Divorce is the most grievous and bitter type of escape from the hell of conflicts in a married life due to social and cultural incongruity and misunderstanding, misconception and misconducts of each other or because of diseases, addiction, domestic violence, other peoplesʹ interferences and tens of other factors. Statistics show that there is an increase in the divorce rate every year and many other families are at the risk of dissipation dissolution. Three methods are used to implement this research; documental research, field research and survey research. In documental research, information on divorce was collected using books, resources and other researches. In this section of the research different religionsʹ theories, especially Islam, sociological and psychological theories about divorce have been collected and studied. In the second stage with field method, observation technique and in-depth interviews were used and through sampling formula "category saturation" about 50 divorced couples were interviewed. In the third stage with survey method, using "questionnaire", we interviewed 500 divorced couples. The results of these questionnaires have been analyzed with SPSS software and computer and are presented in frequency distribution tables and at the end of the paper in frequency distribution tables of factors affecting divorce in which rate of each of the influential factors in divorce are given as percentage. Statistical population of this study were all the couples that within 6 mouths (May to October 1387) referred to Zanjan Family Court and their dossier led to divorce. Out of 500 couples, 50 samples were chosen through sampling formula category saturation for in-depth interviews.
