A Meta-analysis of the Studies in Religion and Social Values in Iran

This paper is an attempt to consider the 23 studies in religion and social values as the sample through meta-analysis; he approach taken is combinatory and the data collection is documentary study through quality analysis and the tprocessing is based on meta-analysis. The main research questions are: "Is it possible to find any compatibility, conformity and symbiosis between Religion and social values in different aspects of individual and social life? In either cases of compatibility or incompatibility between these two factors and social status of the society what problems may be faced in the future? As the result of the present research, human, today is called religion -practicing human, and in Iran, religion has a practical role and presence with full responsibility. Religious values are of key-components in cultural system of society and the know-how on them plays an important role to know this cultural system. According to Islam, values gain necessary credit when religion confirms them and, then, will be used as subscribed values. As other results of this research, if those compatibility, conformity and symbiosis between religion and social values take place, convergence and consonance appear, and socialization and acculturation process will desirably be accomplished. If disconformities occur between the two (religion and social values), the rate of losses, crimes and social problems multiplies and the society leads to disintegration.
