Analyzing Social Elements which Influence Different Viewpoints of Two Generations (Mothers and Daughters) on Social Values in Bookan

The present research has been carried out in Bookan. Its purpose is to determine social elements which influence the point of view in two different generations (mothers- daughters) on social values and differences between them. This is a measurement research. Its statistics community is all female high school students and their mothers in Bookan in 1388. Random sampling was done according to the field of study and 259 female students with their mothers (518 all together) were selected. They answered questionnaires prepared by researcher according to Likretʹs base. Their answers were analyzed by Korenbach Alpha Coefficient. Results were analyzed by SPSS software and other statistical methods like independent T-test, Pearson correlation, Regression. The average age of female students was 17/53 with 2.95 standard deviation and the average age of mothers was 42.96 with 9.92 standard deviation. There was a meaningful difference between these two groups on tendency to wearing veil, divorce, pre-marriage relationships between boys and girls, the kind of friendship and womenʹs employment. There was not meaningful difference between them of the level of religiosity. There was a positive and meaningful correlation between mothers and daughters on social value like social acceptance, frequency of membership in groups and level of following reference groups. Result of regression showed these 3 elements define 20 percent of variance in different views in these two generations. Among individualism, family faithfulness and difference of viewpoints in mothers and daughters there was not any meaningful statistical relation.
