A survey of recent methods in human motion analysis via Videogrammetry

During last decades, there has been a wide research about human motion analysis. There is strong interest in video images because they provide us continuous recording of actions. Furthermore, they make more precise analysis accessible. Human motion analysis is a major interest in many applications. Final goal of these researches is finding automatic methods for human behaviour understanding. Human motion analysis is useful in many applications. Key steps in human motion reconstruction are human detection and tracking through sequences. One most important point is choosing an appropriate method for these steps according to our application. In this paper we provide a general review about video capabilities and applications in human motion analysis. In this way, we mention some usual and powerful methods to reach this goal. As the result, you will see choosing a method for human detection or tracking depends on your application and conditions relating that.
