This research aims to study and explain the features of a learning organization, to present new strategies for executives and to create a totally new thought of working and learning in an organization using a systematic approach. To do so, the Melli Bank of Iran was represented to help assess learning organizations and their weaknesses. The research is basic, goal wise and descriptive-survey, method wise. The systematic model of Michael J. Marcoart was used to assay the organizationʹs learning indices in Melli Bank of Iran. To analyze the data gathered, the T-test, Friedman test were used and the main factors were analyzed through the factor analysis method.
The results in this research have shown that Iranʹs Melli Bank is seemingly weak as a learning organization. Since Iranʹs Melli Bank does not currently have most of the feature of learning organizations using the systematic model, the researcher have given suggestions on how to boost organizational learning.
