Introducing the Manuscript of Persian Translation of the Holy Qurʹan in the Library of Masjid-e Jameʹ-e Kabir of Sanʹa

The Persian translations of the holy Qurʹan play an important role in Qurʹanic translations. In this paper the author has introduced a manuscript of a Persian translation of the holy Qurʹan in the library of Masjid-e Jameʹ-e Kabir of Sanʹa. The paper discusses different aspects of this manuscript including calligraphy, recitation, translation, translatorʹs religion, and sources for commentaries and short interpretations written on its margins.
