A Comparative Study of Propensity of Iranian Researchers for Collaboration and Team Work for the Period 1998-2007

For the present study, Iranian researchers scientific for 1998-2007 period lis indexed by Web of Science citation were collected The trend in scientific output were studied od analyzed using various authorship algorithms (single authored, o-authored, triple auttefed, papers with four or mere author*), fadings indicated that single authored output had the lowest rate of ain while outputs with four or more author had the highest growth rate the most collaborativ subject field had been molecular biology and gemetics and the eats collaborative had been mathematics the scope of international cooperetion in various fields also indicated that geology economics and business had the highest amount of cooperation with researchers from other countries pharmacology and chemistrey had the least international cooperation
