The Taʹziyeh Literature in Chahar Mahalo Bakhtiyari

Taʹziyeh is a kind of religious play which after the establishment of Shiism in Iran became more systematic and integrated. In Ghajar Period due to the attention and interest of Ghajar kings it became more glorious and frequent not only in the capital but also in the other regions in Iran. In Chahar Mahalo Bakhtiyari land because of the interest of the people and the support of certain khans it became more significant and valuable. These considerations and interests caused various schools of taʹziyeh to be created in this region. Most of the writers of taʹziyeh poems were the indigenous poets. In this article, it has been tried to survey this literary genre in Chahar Mahalo Bakhtiyari and certain stylistic features of taʹziyeh have been considered and put forward as well.
