Attention to the needs of personnel leads to improvement of their lives. Their satisfaction causes more efficiency and attempt, something that makes the significant of this article. Therefore, knowing about the characteristics of social security organization is necessary. Theories are based on need and motivation theory. This research aims to examine the effects of salary, management performance, educational level, age, job record, sex, marital status, kinds of employment on job satisfaction. This is a documentary-survey research. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed among 160 personnel who were selected through cluster sampling that has randomly achieved from five districts of Tehran, which has situated in south, east, north, east and center of Tehran. The result of this research show that 84 percent of workers of social security organization in Tehran satisfied with their jobs.The extent of workerʹs satisfaction from management performance evaluates about 81 percent and the amount of workerʹs satisfaction from received salary evaluates about 64 percent. However, this degree is much more in male workers. Furthermore, there is a meaningful relationship between other hypotheses of this research.
