The Islamic revolution in Iran is the result of imitating the prophets, especially Abraham, and taking them as role models. This was first reflected perfectly in Imam Khomeini (r) and then the souls of the people in the society were affected. Therefore, Imam Khomeini (r) specified his political goals, principles, and strategies by taking Prophet Abraham (a) as a role model. Afterwards, he entered the arena of uprising and revolting against polytheism and rebels. By standing up to oppression, he created the foundations for the advent of religious understandings and divine values to come into the society.
