The topic of the present article is body management as an identity media. In traditional communities, attributed characteristics were the criterion for forming individualsʹ identity, and due to its consequences there were developments is cultural and structural areas; and traditional views which stabilize identity have been questioned. Fluid identity viewpoints are divided into two groups: viewpoints such reason for identity fluidity; while viewpoints such as post-structuralism, cultural studies and post-modern viewpoints which leave structural factors, stress the cultural factors.
With respect to the nature of the topic, the present article has been written based on «foundational hypotheses». This type of process is conducted through sampling, gathering and simultaneous analysis. The data is gathered through interview technique, and is concluded with reaching theoretical saturation after interviewing 27 person.
The collected data of the research indicates that the sample persons are willing to achieve a satisfactory identity and struggle to achieve a satisfactory identity and struggle to achieve it. Individuals face many challenges in having access to their desires. These challenges are influenced by interfering element and conditions such as age, gender, experience on one hand, and reflection of historical and social circumstances. In this complicated consequence, individual adopt certain strategies for making their communication status more acceptable.
