Sociological Survey on Factors Effective in Having Tendency toward Smoking, Cigarette and its Relationship with Societal Security (Survey Performed among Pre University Students in Hamedan, 2009)

The present survey studies the tendency toward smoking cigarette and its re- lationship with societal security through using descriptive method and survey. The community under survey is the pre university students in Hamedan, and the sampling method has been simple random; moreover, some descriptive and « deductive statistical techniques (frequency and correlation) are used. The survey aims at explaining the significant relationship between social factors with tendency toward smoking cigarettes and its relationship with societal security, as well. Some important results of researches indicate the significant relationship between family rows, poverty in low class families, deviated friends, imitating actorsʹ gests, and producing cigarettes inside the country with tendency toward smoking cigarettes. The relationship between the above-mentioned items threatens societal security. The survey finally has provided some recommendations in this regard.
