The theme of the present survey is considering the factors effective in emergence of street children phenomenon. In order to consider the way street children have appeared, the survey has dealt with the issue through comparative study of street children (N=60) with a sample (N=60) of children and ordinary children. The survey has also dealt with theories such as social disorder, anomy and Mertons behavior deviation patterns, Nizbit and Parsons structural imbalance theory, labeling theory, intellectual choice theory, Good & Harlockʹs family structure, and manner of explaining and considering social issues and the related solutions. Social disorder has also been stressed in the theoretical framework. In methodology section, eight operational theories have comparatively tested through comparative method to review this phenomenon; and tools such as questionnaire and structured interview are used; in addition, the required data about the research variable have been gathered from a sample of 120 street and ordinary children. The research data has been analyzed through using descriptive and deductive statistics and benefiting from SPSS. With respect to qualitative characteristic of the variables associated with the research and their nominal assessment level, K Score Test has been used to test the research hypotheses; and finally with respect to the collected data, the hypotheses have been reviewed.
The results of the survey indicate that in terms of family status, family disintegration, addiction in family, criminal records in the family, annoying children in family and family origin, there is a significant difference between the two groups under study.
