Theoretical Principles, the Relationship between Police and Press in Iran

The present research aims at offering theoretical principles on the historic relationship between police and press in Iran concerning the shape of the relationship, roots of its formation, and the changes and the effects it has had. The research method is of documentary type. In case we believe in the relationship between police and press is effective in trust making and the public contribution to maintain social security, there should be enough theoretical documentation to prove it. Therefore, it is desirable to design a pattern regarding the historical examination of the relationship between press and police, which deserves criticism so that we could introduce a new and defendable pattern. During the recent years, a kind of policing called community-oriented policing has been raised. In this approach, the public will and cooperation the major factor to establish security. In other words, instead giving service to the statement, it provides the public with security. Meanwhile, the public prioritize the system security so that the system could defend the country and protect the values of the society
