مطالعه ي كاريولوژي برخي از گونه هاي جنس زبان در قفا (Consolida (DC) S.F.Gray) از تيره ي آلاله (Ranunculaceae) در ايران

The caryological study of some species of Consolida (DC) S. F. Gray (Ranunculaceae) in Iran

The chromosomes in eleven populations of five Consolida species were counted and their karyotypes were descriped. Four species reported chromosomes number are 2n=16 (C. author oidea, C. Camptocarpa, C. leptocarpa and C. rugulosa). One of them is 2n=14 (C. persica). The seeds collected from Khorassan, Golestan and Hamedan provinces.C. persica species has one pair of long metacentric chromosome with satellite, one pair of metacentric chromosome, two pairs of short subtelocentric and three pairs of short telocentric. The other species (with 2n=16) in addition to above chromosomes, have two pairs short telocentric chromosomes, but C. anthoroidea have only one pair long subtelocentric chromosomes. Between species seen longest chromosomes in C.persica species and shortest in C. leptocarpa Var. khorrasanica. In species that we studied C.rugulosa was most symmetrical and C.persica was most unsymmetrical.Islam.Azad.univ.,Garmsar Branch. 2, 2:1-8, 2007
