Ethnicities and National Unity in Islamic Republic of Iran (Challenges and Solutions)

National unity is among the most important element for the survival of current governments through which each nationʹs entity is formed and maintained in the course of time. Based on this fact, it is necessary to identify influential factors on that. This article tries to provide practical solutions to create unity among various ethnicities and strengthen national unity through the identification of current situation of ethnicities in Iran and the reasons behind ethnic clashes. The main theory is that reformation of the relation between the central government and ethnic groups through creation and development of positive relations and interactions among different Iranian ethnicities can help reinforce national unity and align ethnic and national interests.
