"Aesthetic bases of metaphor from Abdolghaher Jorjaniʹs perspective

استعاره از مباحثي است كه از گذشته دور ذهن متفكّران حوزه‌هاي مختلف علوم بشري را در سراسر گيتي به خود مشغول داشته است. در حوزه ادب، از آنجايي كه استعاره بزرگ‌ترين كشف هنرمند و عالي‌ترين امكانات در حيطه هنري و از كارآمدترين ابزار تخيّل و به اصطلاح نقّاشي در كلام است مورد توجّه ويژه اديبان و ناقدان برجسته بوده و هست. بلاغت‌دانان اسلامي نيز كه بسياري از بزرگان ايشان ايرانياني بوده‌اند كه زبان عربي را در آغاز به درس آموخته‌اند، مانند ديگر پژوهشگران عرصه ادبيّات جهاني درباره اين صنعت بلاغي ژرف‌انديشي‌ها كرده‌اند. از جمله ناقدان و بلاغت‌دانان برجسته اسلامي عبدالقاهر جرجاني (متوفّي 471 ق) است كه با تلاش روشمند خود موفّق شد به افق‌هاي بي‌سابقه‌اي در مطالعات ادبي و زباني از جمله استعاره دست يابد كه تا آن زمان سابقه نداشت. او معيارهايي را به عنوان مباني زيبايي‌شناسي استعاره ارايه كرده است كه در اين مقاله سعي بر آن است، هر چند مختصر، به تبيين اين مباني پرداخته شود.

Metaphor is one of those subjects that have attracted the attention of Scholars in different fields of studies all across the world from long time ago. In the literature, due to the fact that metaphor is the highest artistic achievement in the field of art and most efficient instrument of imagination in speech, hence it has become the subject of critical review by the greatest critics and literary men. Among Islamic rhetoricians, Iranian scholars are in high positions. These Iranian scholars began their pioneering work in rhetoric by mastering Arabic and then, like other scholars of literature, explored the figurative art by going deep into history of world literature. Abdolghaher Jorjani (died in 471/1078A.D) is one of the well-known Muslim critics and master of literature who with his directed literary work succeeded in bringing and casting new approaches and perspectives on metaphor which were innovative and therefore unprecedented up to his time. He has outlined the aesthetic bases of metaphor. In the present study, the aim is to explain the aesthetic foundations of metaphor in Joijaniʹs thought in a brief way.
