چكيده لاتين :
Numerical simulation of problems with two domains of dependent and coupled equations has been the subject of much research recently. Numerical simulation of a two layer flow using boundary element method is an example of these kind of problems, which has received less attention. There exist different methods for discretizing the governing equations of a two layer flow and handling the coupled equations of layers. However, development of a method which has high accuracy and economical efficiency simultaneously, is still of great importance. In this study two methods have been proposed to discretize the governing equations of a two layer flow and conceptually compared to other existing methods. Using boundary element method, e
volution of waves in a two layer flow have been simulated employing each of the proposed methods and the results have been compared together and to the linear analytical solution. Results show that the newly proposed methods are more stable and economical than previously existing ones and produce results which are slightly different from linear analytical solution.
