چكيده لاتين :
Between 1998 to 1999 total number of 27 wild carnivores (5 wolves, 7jackals, 15 foxes) of East Azarbaijan province in northwest of Iran were examined (on post mortem examination) for Dirofilaria immitis. Some of these animals were shouted and others have been killed in car accident, many adult worms and numerous of microfilaria were recovered from heart and blood samples that examined with Knottʹs method. One Wolf, four jackals and two foxes had adult worms in their heart. One wolf and two jackals had microfilaria in their bloods.
