Language in The word of Allah (The Quran)

Despite the importance of "language", its treatment in the holy Quran is not yet investigated academically. The present paper focuses on the significance of language and language diversity, as discussed in the Quran. Distinguishing between human language and animal language in terms of their common and different features, the paper discusses the creation of language, its creator, and its human aspects (i.e. psychological, social and normative propositions). At the end, the paper explores the contributions of Quran to the development of the knowledge of language.
