Volatile Oils Constituents from Different Parts of Artemisia austrica Jacq. from Iran

Artemisia austriaca is odorous herb and is used as antiseptics and stomachicsin traditional medicine. The hydro-distillation of stems, leaves and flowersof Artemisia austriaca has been analyzed by a combination of GC and GCIMS techniques. The main components of the stem , leaf and flower were camphor and1,8-cineole. Another major constituent in stem and leaf was borneol and in flowerwas myrcene. The oils ofA. austriaca were found to be rich in regard to oxygenatedmonoterpenes.
