A Methodological Pattern for Studying Power Sociology; Case of Iraq Republic.

Iraq has been subjected to many changes after Americaʹs invasion and the fall of Baʹath regime. Neighborhood, cultural, political and economic relationships, have made the exploration of these changes and their possible impacts essential for Iran. According to explain these changes, the author examines the existing analytical patterns at first and while he refers to the weak points of these patterns, provides a sociological pattern which in his point of view, has a proper capability to explain power equations in Iraq. In this approach the role of social forces in creating the government and also the governmentʹs ability to arrange social gaps are insisted. The basic factors of this pattern are, military efficiency, political legitimacy, peaceful coexistence of tribes and minorities, economic capability and access to vital natural resources which are explained extensively.
